Enact Systems Launches Solar Workflow Automation Module

July 14, 2016. Developed over the course of 9 months, in partnership with the US Department of Energy’s SunShot initiative, ENACT’s unique solar workflow automation module now offers live benchmarking capabilities and guided user-insights for projects developed on its platform. As new solar project proposals are developed, users can benchmark market parameters like pricing, system size, and solar offset against similar projects within their Company, or State or National averages. ENACT’s proprietary Analytics engine analyses thousands of project proposals on its platform on a live, anonymous, and aggregate basis to display such guided insights. “As small and regional solar players expand their teams, ENACT’s solar platform can help them right-size project opportunities quickly,” said Deep Chakraborty, CEO of ENACT SYSTEMS. “Our platform users have collectively grossed $100M per quarter in new project originations. We are launching the first level of analytics-based insights, to help them to develop more accurate and realistic project bids”. ENACT’s solar workflow software now has over 1,000 users in 30 States who are leveraging the cloud software for sales, financing, and operations for solar projects, with 100MW of solar projects originated by platform users in 2016. “There is not a product on the market as versatile as Enact Systems. We were searching for a back-office cloud-based tool, which can combine a CRM, accounting, and procurement with a front-end solar sales proposal and financing platform. We found it.” said Brian Boguess, CEO of Nuance Energy, leading commercial solar EPC and racking manufacturer in California. “Solar is a rapidly evolving industry globally and is both technically challenging and policy intensive, requiring the personalized touch of a typical service industry,” said Dr. Manish Anand, CTO of ENACT SYSTEMS. “We are focused on providing an end-to-end solar deployment platform that provides the right information at the right time to enable business owners to make well-informed decisions. Our goal is not only to help our platform users to win more projects but also to successfully install and manage them with minimal soft costs.” New Project Insights Capability allows benchmarking of project bill offset. In addition to solar developers, the platform also has OEMs and Distributors as customers as well. Distributors have the unique ability to streamline their sales forecasting and inventory management, through an ENACT platform API. “ENACT provides a complete business platform for our dealers to originate and finance solar projects and track their entire installation projects,” says John Steele, Sales Manager from CFM Distributors, a leading solar and HVAC distributor based in Sacramento, CA. “We have been using ENACT for over a year and gained new insights into our customers’ needs that help us improve our operational effectiveness and inventory forecasting needs.” “ENACT’s powerful solar workflow platform truly enables numerous parties to track solar project workflow – including financing. Collaborating with multiple groups of professionals is very easy, and even third-party contractors. As we grow our solar program, this is the type of solution that we have been looking for to streamline our processes” said Audrey Gies, who manages renewable development at Georgia Power and has begun some trials of the platform. Georgia Power has launched solar services program for its customers.
